Junior Open Day - Sunday 11 September, 2016 between 10.00am and mid-day. We welcome all existing and prospective junior members to join us for tennis and the opportunity to meet our coach and other parents. AGM, Open Day and Prize-giving
AGM, Open Day and Prize-giving Our AGM will be held this Sunday (21 August) at the Karori Lawn Tennis clubroom, 226 Karori Rd, Karori at 12.30pm. This will be followed from 1.30pm by an Open Day. All current members and visitors are welcome. Prize-giving and afternoon tea will take place from 3.00pm |
Venue Hire
Hire our clubrooms and courts for your Christmas function! Karori Lawn Tennis Club welcomes bookings for tennis events from the community and corporate groups and organizations during the Xmas and holiday season. The facilities available include the use of our clubrooms and 3 courts. Hire also includes the use of rackets and balls and if required, club members can be available to organise tennis games. A kitchen is available with 1 fridge, an oven and Rheem hot water on tap for tea and coffee. There is also a barbeque available. Visitors will need to make their own catering arrangements. The club does not hold a liquor license although you are able to bring your own alcohol but not sell it on the premises. Open Days for 2014 Season
Junior Open Day will be held on 6 September from 11am until 1pm. Come along and meet some of our parents and our club coach Mareta. Juniors will have the opportunity to play some tennis and enjoy a sausage sizzle. Our Senior Open Day will be held on 7 September from 1pm onwards. We would like to invite anyone interested to come and meet some of our regulars. The committee will be there to organise tennis games for the afternoon. Afternoon tea/ sausage sizzle to follow. Midweek Open Day is on Wednesday from 9.30 until midday. Ladies and men interested in playing tennis during the week are invited to join us for tennis and morning tea. Tuesday Night Daylight Saving Competition
This year we have a new sponsor for the Tuesday Night Day-Light Saving Competition. Thump Sport has kindly donated vouchers, total value of $50 redeemable at their business. To be winner of the competition and qualify for the prize players must participate on 50% of the days play was possible.
